Brother Cal Hampton
My core beliefs line up with the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Brother Cal Hampton, his wife Diana and son Isaac
Cal
Hampton was ordained and licensed to the gospel ministry April 6th,
1997, by First Baptist Church of Clarksville, Tennessee. He holds
undergraduate and graduate degrees from Austin Peay State University
and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Cal and his wife, Diana,
have three children: Brittnye Franks, Paige Hampton, and Isaac
Hampton.
He officially became
the pastor of Green River Baptist Church on December 27, 1997. During
his tenure the church has experienced a 300% increase in worship
attendance and a 250% increase in Sunday School attendance. Budget
giving and mission giving have increased 270%. The church has led the
Indian Creek Baptist Association in baptisms twelve out of the last
thirteen years. A new Children's Ministry Building was completed in
the Summer of 2008 and plans for future growth are in place.
Additional ministerial staff has also been added to the church in his
tenure.
Pastor Cal has served
on the Tennessee Baptist Convention Executive Board and numerous
positions of the Indian Creek Baptist Association. He has preached
over 50 revivals in Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and
preached a crusade in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Outside of his
relationship with Jesus Christ and his family, serving as the pastor
of Green River Baptist Church is the joy of his life!
Brother Kerry Franks
I support the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Kerry Franks has been a life-long member of Green River Baptist Church being born at Green River. He was called as the Youth Pastor of Green River Baptist Church in September of 2006. Kerry was licensed and ordained to the gospel ministry on October 7, 2007.
Kerry has received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Education from The University of North Alabama as well as a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
Kerry has a heart for student ministries and a passion to see teenagers come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life. Furthermore he strives to see students develop a relationship with Jesus and become life-long disciples. He loves to both study and communicate the Word of God with others. Kerry is not your normal Youth Pastor given the fact he can not play the guitar nor can he grow a decent goatee. He also plays a mean game of foosball.
Brother Larry and Martha Littlefield
Larry Littlefield became full-time Minister of Music at GRBC on May 5, 2009. Prior to his coming as full-time Music Minister, he had been serving as interim Minister of Music at GRBC since January 2009. Larry’s family has a long history of music ministry. He sang for 15 years with his family group, “The Littlefields” who won the best Rural Gospel Quartet in KY at the 1978 Ky State Fair. After the “The Littlefields’ Quartet ended, Larry continued in Music Ministry.
On August 9, 2011 Larry and Martha [Deason] Littlefield celebrated 42 years of marriage and they have two daughters. Their oldest daughter, Kristi, is the wife of Jeff LaBorg, well-known Pastor & Evangelist throughout the country. The LaBorg children are Bethanee and Bradlee. Their other daughter, Karen, is married to Patrick Godwin, entrepreneur and Licensed Youth Minister fromSharon Baptist Church in Savannah, TN. Their children are Connor and Kaylin. Larry says that “God has blessed Martha and me with the most beautiful family in the world. He has truly blessed us with children who serve and love the Lord. What more could we wish for in this life?”
Larry wants to see GRBC become a power house for God in this region and around the world through missions. He believes that music prepares people for the Word of God. We are blessed to serve with Bro. Cal Hampton who is a mighty man of God, great preacher/pastor and a true friend to us.
Brother Jeff Stiles
Jeff Stiles was born in Miami, Florida where he attended the University of Miami and was eventually directed toward seminary school. In his years of schooling he earned his bachelors, masters, and doctorate degree. He served as a pastor and music leader in Florida until he made his move to Tennessee. He found his way to Waynesboro and Green River Baptist Church 9 years ago, where he soon became an integral part of the music ministry and the super seniors. Brother Stiles and his wife of 58 years are a blessing to the church and community.
Emilie Franks
Emilie Franks is the wife of Ted Franks. They have a son, Joshua, and a daughter-in-law, Alisha. Emilie has spent her whole adult life in the fellowship of the Green River Baptist Church. She has a degree in early childhood education.
Emilie has been Director of Children's Ministries since September of 2007. She serves under the leadership of our Lord Jesus Christ and the staff of GRBC. Her goal is to see every child in Wayne County come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
